First Hair Cut

Well Claire is 2 years old and a couple months and she is finally had her first hair cut. She was really happy when we started, but by the end the treats and fun stuff had run out. I did it myself and just made it all one length. She has really short spots in the front so I just evened them out. You can see how long it was in the front and in the mirror the back, in the first picture.

after we were done and the trimming was done. added a few bangs, because of how weird he hair was growing in the front.


Maybe tomorrow she will let me style it and then it will look a little better. This way it can grow out evenly.

Claire really is in need of some one on one attention since it has been taken away by a certain little guy, so we laid him down for a nap and then headed outside. Claire has never played in the leaves, last year she couldn't even walk at this time so it was a little rough to go out and play in the leaves. So we raked them up, she had a broom but it worked, and then we threw them in the air and at each other and we giggled and yelled and had a great time. I love this girl!!!

Hospital Pictures

My sister-in-law that does all of our pictures for us, came to the hospital to take some, she wanted to do a slide show of the birth and I just had to say no, but she made a beautiful one of after. Hope you enjoy some of the shots from the hospital.

Friends for Life

Claire has been warming up to her little brother nicely, she had been very soft with him and has given him a kiss on the cheek. When he cries she comes running just to ask if he is okay. during Conference she tried to share her popcorn with him and just sat next to him and talked to him. It makes my heart swell and makes me smile. She is the sweetest girl ever, and we couldn't ask for a happier little guy.

Today made me smile a lot, the little lady wanted to hold her brother. She held him for about 10 minutes and just talked to him, she found his nose, tongue, ears, eyes, tummy, toes, hair and fingers.

They will be friends for life I think!!

Our new arrival

Landon Michael has joined us a little early, but healthy and happy!!

So I headed into my doctors appointment on Wendesday afternoon, thinking that nothing had changed from the last week. Had my urine checked, weight taken and blood pressure done. My weight was up a few pounds this week, I had started gaining the dreaded water weight, and well my blood pressure was up. So my doctor had the nurse check again and it had gone up some more. Seeing as I had Claire early for toximia we were careful this time, and seeing as I was full term, there was no need to stay pregnant and worry about my pressure going higher. So I headed over to L&D and called Brandon on the way, telling him I was once again not to leave the hospital.

Got all checked in and they got me started on some drugs, (I was at a 4 when we started) , had my water broken, got loose ends tied up and waited for the magic to happy, then shortly, and I mean shortly, had our little man. I was completely ready at 9:00 p.m. and he arrived at 9:11 p.m. (what a relief seeing as I pushed for 4 hours with Claire)

He came out smaller than I thought at 6 lbs. 13 oz. and 19 inches long. His heart looks great and everything about him is perfect and handsome. We are all so glad he is with us, (well almost all of us, Claire hasn't wanted anything to do with him).
