WEll on Saturday we had our annual Cooper Easter Egg hunt, all though we seemed to have quite a few more eggs then we normally do, and a few less kids. Brandon at the end was given permission to hide the eggs anywhere he wanted, therefore they ended up in exhaust pipes, tires, above the garage, hiden beneath leaves, and other places. The kids had a blast and got a lot of candy, if you look closely of the picture that has all the kids in it, some have baskets and bags and there baskets are overflowing, it was a good easter for them this year.
We had a lot more places to hide the eggs at the new house, and we were allowed to use the front and back yard, we are only allowed to use the backyard at the old house.

This is Carly, we were inside trying to keep her from peeking through the windows, when she looks outside and sees eggs on the grass and says, Grandma did not do a good job, I can see the eggs. It was funny, so we said that some of the eggs are on the grass so that the little ones can reach them easier.

That is so exciting!!!
On Sunday was my birthday, we decided that would be the best day to tell the family that we had some great news. We got some frames that said Grand kids on them and put a paper that said Coming September 2008 and wrapped them, and had them open them. So there it is Brandon and I are excitedly awaiting our baby coming in September. I am due the 19Th, but am only 12 weeks, the reason for that is, I went in for my first appointment at 9 weeks and came out 7 1/2 weeks, the baby wasn't measuring quite as big as we thought. My doctor said we are keeping the due date.
I have been very lucky with the whole morning sickness part. I was only sick for about 2 weeks and it was at night for about 2 hours, I would feel nauseous, then throw up and then be fine.
We are so very excited about our new addition coming to our family, and can't wait for September to meet our baby.

Not so much fun....
Well a week later after Brandon had hurt his foot playing church ball, it started to hurt more than it had in the previous days. He decided it was time to see a doctor. So he went into the insta care, and found out that he had fractured his foot. He now has to wear a boot for six weeks and was given some meds to help him sleep, and now gets to go to and orthopedic specialist. hopefully the specialist will tell him if it is healing properly. Just wanted to update

All in the name of FUN!!
Thursday nights Brandon plays church ball, he was asked to give the prayer before playing and felt like he needed to pray that the injuries would not be serious. They then started to play, less then a minute into the game, a spazy player on the other team was running at Brandon as he was in the air and Brandon ended up landing on him. Of course he tried to walk it off, I have never figured out that tactic, and stayed the rest of the game not playing. He comes home and he needs ice, food and some Advil. So I give him what he needs and he shows me the damage just a very large swelled area around the ankle.
This picture is of the day after, he went to work and worked until 10:00 helping move the Salt Lake Branch to there new location, he came home took the bandage off and this large and boxy looking bruise was there. It is getting better, but I keep making him ice it, cuz the bruise is moving down to the toes.
But hey it is all in the name of fun, if you have fun doing it that is all that matters right???

The Pigeon or the Dove

So I am talking to Brandon on the phone and walking down the stairs to get to our apartment and I look over and see this, it startled me so bad I gasped and jumped. I was sitting on the ledge that sits in front of our neighbors apartment right next to the stairs. It is a pigeon. Now for the title of the post. As I was talking to Brandon I tell him there is a pigeon, he says be nice it is the same as a dove. I asked what he met and then as he told me the story I remember him telling me this before. In Russian Dove and Pigeon are the same word, therefore a Dove/Pigeon appeared to Jesus Christ, a Dove/Pigeon brought back the branch after the flood for Noah and his family, and so forth.
Therefore if you see a Pigeon just think of it as a Dove, and be nice to them.
