updates from the past week
well it has been a while since posting so I thought I would update.
Valetines was good Brandon and I went out for dinner and then headed over the my mom and dad's to wish me Mom and VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! I told her that we wanted sugar cookies with out name on them for Sunday and she said okay.
Well Sunday came and no sugar cookies with out name on them, some one made the comment that she takes things to her neighbors but she has her kids for eternity and if she didn't do cute things like sugar cookies anymore eternity would be a long time. So On President's Day I went back over and helped my mom make sugar cookies, not with out names on them, but sugar cookies for all occasions, easter, St. Patrick's Day, Valentines and some feet were in the mix. It was good times.
Good update, have a great day

A Sad Accident
On a day that was not snowing, surprise surprise, I received a phone call from Brandon. It was a little after 5:00 p.m. and he was on his way home. Brandon has always been so kind as to call me on his way home from work, sometimes when he is leaving and then when he gets closer to home or sometimes just when leaving work or just when he is close. On Monday Feb. 4th I got a call from Brandon that was a little more urgent then most.
Hey hon, I just got in a car accident I will call you later, I am fine and so is the other driver, we are just waiting for the police to get here.
As I waited to here from him again about what had happened I got my shoes on and made sure my jacket was close by. Getting a second call that from Brandon saying he needed me to come and get him. I was on my way, just let me know where you will be at.
Brandon was driving from work and before he even got the the freeway say another car out of the corner of his eye that was suppose to be at a stop sign coming toward him. As the car was coming closer all Brandon could do was break, and the hit. Brandon hit the car in the passenger side with the front of his truck. The car he hit continued to move forward as Brandon also continued to move forward. Seeing as Brandon hit him in what we call a T-bone they were not moving in the same foward motion.
The truck was carried off on a tow truck and Brandon was dropped off at a gas station so I could come and get him.
The man that Brandon hit, whose fault it was, was at a stop sign and told the police officer that either he didn't see Brandon when he looked or he just didn't look, it was his first day working in the Pleasant Grove Area, and Brandon thinks he may not have known the area or was reflecting on the first day of work.
Back to the truck, it is bent in the front a little to one side and it was leaking some fluids. He has some hooks that are hooked to the frame in the front for towing purposes and one was bent in. We are a little worried about the damage being totalling. It was Brandon's baby, the first car he bought shortly after coming home off the mission. He is looking into options if it is totalled and for the time being is driving a 2008 Toyota Tundra. He told the others guys insurance that he would need a truck for his work and he thought they would just get him a little truck that would help out, instead he got this big thing, (which I swear I have to jump into).
Brandon is fine, just had some whiplash,no hospitals invovled and is sad about his truck, now he and I just want to get the insurance company to get everything taken care of and if a new vehicle needs to be purchased that we can get that done as well.
Brandon being Brandon said I just wasn't ready for a demilishion derby, I would have lifted it, with spikes and all the works if I knew this was going to happen. One reason I love Brandon he is always ready with a smile and a joke, ready to move foward and be more grateful then he was the day before. I am just so relieved that Brandon was not hurt any worse and that we was in a vehicle that could handle an accident like what he was in.

Tagged!
A. The rules are posted at the beginning.
B. Each player answers the questions about themselves.
C. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5 people by posting their names; then goes to their blog and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged.
Well, my cousin Mohan tagged me so I thought I would add on one more post, the first one of February!
10 years ago:
I was almost 14, which means I was in 8th grade and still in the nasty junior high phase, I was singing in the choir, playing in the orchestra, and also granite junior youth orchestra and playing with all my great friends. I was getting rid of the glasses and moving to contacts and also getting braces and appliances to widen my mouth and other things. I was also waiting for my neice Kayla to be born.
Snacks I enjoy:
Ice cream
carrots, (in high school when I had early morning rehearsal which was most mornings, I would eat a little bag of carrots as the time went by my skin started turning a little orange, I stopped eating carrots that much, but still love them)
cookies
peas
Five things on my to-do list today:
just five, cuz there are more than that,
laundry
clean the apartment
go to the grocery store
pick up Chelsea to play for the weekend
go to a movie and have some dinner
I think I summed up well
Things I would do if I were suddenly made a billionaire:
I would tell my husband that we were rich, then we would buy a house, pay off his students loans, save some in different areas and give some away to people that would need it.
Three of my bad habits:
biting my nails
leaving my clothes on the end of the bed
somtimes eating to much junk food, but I am trying to work on that.
Five places I have lived:
West Valley city
Logan, Utah
Salt Lake City
Jobs I have had:
Training Table for too long
Dan Jones (doing surveys)
A&W resturant in Logan
Para Professional for and elementary school
Things people don't know about me:
I love to read and can finish a book in two days! I like to do the laundry, even if I put it off, I love the clean smell. I would rather not talk to people first, unless I know them really when, but once you get to know me I can be pretty fun, I think anyways
I tag:
Stacy and Kevin
Melinda
Crystal
Sheena
Janae and Travis
Dera
