Back to School

Well it is back to school time, so get ready for a wonderful oppurtunity to learn. I started work again after a good 6 week break, (with a few meetings here and there). July 25th was our first day back. I work at Stansbury Elementary School as a Para Professional (a teacher's aide). This year I am working with another aide and we will be pushing into three grade levels for math and the same for language arts. We work as a team in first, second and third grade. Yes, making fun is okay. I am just younger than I look, but Adam Sandler did it so why not. First grade is a whole new ball game, they are still learning to be "big first graders" instead of kindergarteners and they have a lot of discipline to learn. The first grade teacher I work for says that she just got use to her first graders from last year doing things on there own that her mind set has been brought back down, but it all seems exciting. I am excited for another wonderful school year with all the cute kids, (yes even when they act out I still like them a lot). I was glad to come back and see all the kids from my class last year as well, and they were also excited to see me. It has been a great first week of school. :)

Hutch Down Under

Well Kevin, Stacy, Madisen, Cooper and Rylee have made it to Australia. The move was made and they all made it safely. She said the two older kids loved the airplane and Rylee just wanted to be held. They had a lot of help getting themselves to the airport and a lot of help getting to where they needed to get to in the "Land Down Under". Sounds like so far the move has been one adventure for Kevin and Stacy and for sure for the kids. Good luck you guys and we can't wait to see more.. Love ya tons!!!

Rylee JoAnn

Stacy and Kevin are new proud parents of baby number three. She was born June 4 2007. She was blessed Sunday and her name is Rylee JoAnn. They will also be moving to Australia on Friday and will be there for three years. We are excited and sad at the same time for there departure. Also we are glad that we could be there for her blessing. We wish you all the best.
Here are Madi and Cooper holding Rylee and smiling big. Congratulations you guys on your big day. Love ya tons. Madi and Cooper were so excited to have a little sister. Cooper for the first little while wanted it to be a boy, and when you asked him what the baby was, would say a boy. It is going to be a boy, after a few months he would say my sister Rylee. They love there sister and help out quite a bit.

Cooper Family Campout 2007

Here we are at another great Cooper Campout
These are my neices and nephews all enjoying
themselves in the activities we did, whether
eating, talking, playing in mud and water, or just
relaxing. Throwing rocks was also a favorite past time.
For our Campout this year we went to Granite Flats
up American Fork Canyon. We had camp sites from
Wednesday until Saturday afternoon. Some of the boys went golfing on day, others went hiking, we played in the water and others just watched. The water at the lake we went to was dirty, dirty so as the kids through rocks into the water, the splash would bring water and mud. When they walked through the water or waded or swam in they came out super muddy. They had a great time and did what kids do. Laugh.

When we go on camping trips we all get assigned a meal that we get to cook with another family member and there family. We either have a breakfast or a dinner and then lunch is for us to deal with. Around the camp fire at night we had great snacks this year. Banana Boats, s'mores, jiffy pop, little hot dogs, and marshmallows just to eat. We also had a few snacks.
On Saturday my Marie to all the kids and they had some fun activities to do. They had came back with painted items, a whistle and a small flashlight. We could hear the whistles and assumed they were having a great time.

Friday night was Cooper's birthday so Stacy brought up a cake. He got to blow out a candle and share his cake with everyone. His cake also had robots on them (transformers) and played with those after he and some of the other little ones licked off the frosting.

Happy Birthday Madi and Cooper!!!

Happy Birthday Madi and Cooper. My sister and her family are moving to Australia for 3 years. They are leaving in two weeks and Cooper's birthday is next week and Madisen's is the middle of August, so before they left they had a joint birthday party with all there friends. Madi will be turning 6 and Coop will be 4.

Carly, Max, Paisley, Chelsea and Brayden are some of Madi and
Cooper's cousins that came to the party. Chelsea was there to help out with one of the booths.

This is Madi again at one of the booths, where you got to get a cute tattoo where ever you wanted it.

Want a prize, feel free to put your fishing pole over the curtain and you will recieve a prize or candy when you bring your pull back to you.

With this stop you get a prize if you throw the frisbee in the box in the pool, or you get candy for throwing it outside the box.

This is the fish walk, like a cake walk, but you stand on fish and you don't get cake you got candy. There was one more stop, but I didn't get a picture of it. You went to a tub of water and picked something floating and if it had a "c" you get candy or a "p" you get a prize.

The kids got to hit a pinata that looked like Nemo after all of the fun games. All the kids got a turn to hit and then got ready for the goodies to come out of the fishy.
Everytime candy came out the kiddo's went running and the one with the bat would continue to swing. So Kevin had to pull up fast after it came spilling out.
After the pinata they had a water balloon fight. The boys had a cooler of balloons and the girls had another on the other side of the lawn. After the balloons disappeared the ran to the pool and the little tub full of water. It turned into a soak fest. Brandon helped in this soaking time. He picked up the cooler and poured it on the kids. They had a great time. Kevin (madi and cooper's dad) also joined in and my brother Joey also got in the fun. They ended up super wet with great big smiles.

Donut Falls

Brandon and I decided to take a nice little hike up to Donut Falls on 07/07/2007. We are going to be hiking Timp for my family campout and we just wanted to be ready. Believe me I know they are no where near the same experience.

The Living Aquarium in Sandy

The 3rd graders got to go on a field trip the last week of school to The Living Aquarium. My class loved it and talked about it the rest of the week. We have one boy in my class that loves animals, talks about them and doodles animals on every paper I ever saw, he and the others loved everything about it. My class was split into 3 groups and this in the group that came with me. It was a blast.

This is where the tadpoles live and the boys wanted to see them a little closer, so they went through the fence railing and took that closer look. The tadpoles were so small that this was the only way the kiddos could see them. I am so glad that they enjoyed themselves.

The sting rays where a such a hit. After seeing everything in the Aquarium the only thing all three classes wanted to do was go back and touch the stingrays. Most of the kids looked like they had actually swam with the rays by the time we left.
