Not the sharpest tool in the shed!!

When I am pregnant I literally feel dumb. People I have known for years, no longer have a name I remember. Words I have been using my whole life are just gone. Sentences are left incomplete because the word that should fit there is lost and I am left looking for a simpler form of the word, which I can't find because I can't remember the word I am looking for in the first place.
People get told the same thing a few times because I can't remember if I have told them or not. I have to write down things to remember them and my super sense of hearing where I can be told multiple things and get them all done in a matter of minutes, well GONE.

That being said Sunday started as any normal Sunday, waking up late and needing to rush to get ready for Church. Got in the shower, washed my hair, shaved, got out, got dressed, got ready. Got Claire ready, walked out the door, climbed in the car, got to church (late), sat down, got Claire something to do, sang the song, prayed, listened to about 2 minutes of the speaker, got something else for Claire, looked down at my leg and said to myself I missed a spot shaving. Ran my hand over that spot and realized, it was not just a spot. yes, that is right my entire leg was still nice and prickly. Checked the other leg, nice and smooth.

This is where you can laugh at me because I ran through the whole morning again and really can't remember shaving or not that leg, well to you it is obvious that I didn't, to me I was shocked leaned over to my husband and said "I only shaved one leg" . He looks at me and says "Nice work" with a little smile.

Needless to say yesterday when I shaved I said out loud in the shower, Julie, Remember to shave BOTH legs today!!

Now I need to go....well I don't know where, I forgot where I needed to go!

FHE water fun

My sister invited who ever wanted to, to come have FHE with her and her family, we headed to a nearby splash pad with a park right next to it, had dinner, celebrated a special kiddo's birthday and played and played and played. It was fun for all!

A little nervous about walking across the wood bridge

Madi and Max running through the splash pad
Ready, Set, GO

Bubbles, Claire loves bubbles

Batman was pretending to be a frog, love his face

Cooper "blowing" out his candles, it was a little windy and our shield of towels and people didn't seem to help

waiting OH so patiently for Cooper to be done blowing out his candles, so she could have a cupcake

finally being brave enough to run through the splash pad, and loved it, I knew she would

by the end she could climb up all the stairs, minus one set, and was brave enough to go down all the slides by herself.

What a great FHE!!!

27 weeks

So here I am at 27 weeks. I would have to say that having a boy is a different experience then the girl. I was more nauseous in the beginning, I was a lot more tired, and I got bigger faster (which may be due to the second pregnancy more than the boy).

Now that I am at 27 weeks there are differences as well, before I got pregnant with this one I was exercising 3 hours a day (crazy I know, but I loved it) and that lasted until about 3 months into it, then I was just doing one hour, after my 10k in May it went downhill. I would go to the gym and run and I would get pains in my lower stomach. So I stopped running. So I started using one of the machines and same thing. Then Claire and I started going for walks when it got nicer and if I walk to fast I would have to stop or walk through the pain, I have tried Wii fit and the same effect. So I am at a loss as to what to do, any suggestions?

This little man just doesn't like me to do to much, treating me like a princess already, I like it!!

I haven't swollen at all with this pregnancy, as I did with Claire. Funny story, I showed my sister (that lived in Australia while I was pregnant with Claire and never actually saw me pregnant) a picture of me at the same point I am now and her reaction was priceless, wide-eyed shock and surprise with a wow, WOW!!! (he he he)

I have had this strange thing happen where I just don't feel hungry or if I eat just a little to much and I mean just a little, I feel like I am going to pop.

I love that Claire, as much as she ignores you when you talk about her baby brother, she still gives my tummy kisses and says baby. I will do a post on Claire, cuz she is just so dang cute and growing so much.

All in all besides the differences, pregnancy is still good to me, I have great ones, and really do enjoy it. Here I am:

Cousin Time!

We got to spend some time with Rylee, Claire's cousin, for a few hours last night. Her parents and brother and sister headed over to Lagoon and after she spent sometime with her grandparents came to play.

When she came in Claire wanted to show her where the toys were, but she had to make sure that Grandma and Grandpa made it out of the drive way then she told me which way they headed. Then we could play.

This is were I found then at one point, Claire's new favorite place is to hide in the cupboards, mind you if there are shelves in the way she just closes the doors the best she can, and I tickle her toes. Rylee joined in the fun.

They took a bath together, and then Rylee wanted to sleep on our big bed in our room so she headed in there and Claire wanted to join her. they feel asleep after a few giggles and words.

Thanks for spending some time with us Sparkles!!!
