Well, I am ...
I made it to full term.
I headed into the doctor last week and I was dilated to a 2 and was about 70% effaced. About three days before my doctors appointment I felt him drop and have had quite the pains with that. Nothing I can't handle, so I just keep going on.
It has been a strange thing to be pregnant this last week, seeing as with Claire I had to be induced at 36 weeks due to my toxima. So having gone past it has been a LONG week. It will be great to have a full term baby though, and hopefully will not have to spend extra days in the hospital.
Asked the doctor about doing an ultrasound on the kiddos heart to see if he has the same stenosis as Claire did in her heart and he said he will just have to wait and see. It was just a strange problem, and wasn't caused by anything. So we are praying NO heart problems.
Going back into the doctor today to see what he has to say, wish me luck!

Day of Doctors!!!

Well yesterday was the day we took Claire to the doctors. We headed first to see our really great cardiologist. We had to do all the testing first and she was not happy about it. The nurse put some stickers all over her tummy while Brandon and I held onto each hand, and then she had to connect all the wires to those stickers. She actually held still long enough that we only had to do the test once. Got a great reading of her heart and then we got to take it all off, and she got the cutest crocheted giraffe for being so brave.
Doctor told us her heart looks perfect, it sounds the same as it did last time, which is that there is still a little murmur to it, but it could sound like that for the rest of her life. He said that if the stenosis were to come back that it would be about now we would see it. So far so good, we go back in a year and they want to do the ultrasound of her heart. three he says is the time they start to understand what is happening a little better and don't freak out as much.
So we will see you in a year!!
Next we headed over to the pediatrician, she is also great. (We are really lucky to have such great doctors in out lives.) Claire is looking good, she is in the 75th% for height and 60th% for weight. She is talking great and doing what she should be at her age. She is doing amazing.
The doctor and I talked about when I go in next for my appointment, talking to my OB about getting a detailed ultrasound on this baby to see how his heart is doing, and if he might have the same problem Claire did. It really didn't occur to me, but something I will be asking about on Wednesday for sure.
Claire did great with her shot that she got and we will see the doctor for Claire appointment in a year, but will be seeing her sooner because the little man is a month away from coming our way.
It really is a great feeling to go to the doctors and they give you the all clear, it is a very great and wonderful feeling. Until next year doctors!!
