a new place to live

Well Brandon and I have bought a house, we are going to be closing and moving in this week. We are very excited for this new chapter in our lives and can't wait to get settled in. We have been busy packing boxes, taking things apart and making arrangements to get into the house. We have had three great blessings come our way this 2008 year and are very grateful for our answered prayers. A Baby, MBA program and a house. This will be my last entry on the blog until after moving day so I will see you all then and can't wait for the end of the week.

Cooper Campout 2008

Well for the Cooper Campout this year we went this past Thursday to Saturday. We went up to Heber Valley Camp, which is a girls camp. We stayed in cabins may have been a good thing this year, becuase we had some snow. it was surprisingly not as cold as it looked. It was great times, we got to go to the Lake Front and paddle in the paddle boats or take canoes out. We played games with the Challenger course Elder and Sister, we had a lady come and talk to us about the wildlife and plants in the area. And of course we played games till all hours of the day and night.

It was a great time, thanks Joey and Heather for putting this years campout together.

I am so Proud

I have posetd a few things this Sabbath Day, but can't leave this one out, because I am so proud of my husband. He is so amazing to me, he is a loving husband, always there for me, surprising me, and making me laugh. I want to tell him how proud and how much I love him and admire that he has taken this next step in his life.

Brandon was excepted into the MBA Program at the UofU and will start in the Fall.

I love you and congratulations again. You are so wonderful.

Long Time Friends!!

My friends and I got together yesterday. these are the girls that I spent a lot of my growing up years with. We grew up together in the same ward and hung out a lot more often then not. As we got older we went to separate colleges got married at different times and had life long adventures to all over the world. But we have always remained friends.

We decided that since Halley and her husband Mike were moving for a job opportunity and Chante' and Jake are also moving our of state for a job and experience opportunity, we would have a last time together.



We had a great time, thanks again for the get together. Love ya guys and will miss the two that are moving out of state, but and excited for your new adventures.

Half Way

An update on pregnancy news is that I am 20 weeks. Hard to believe that I am already half way, but nice to know that in a few short months we will be able to see our pretty little girl. So Happy Mother's Day again enjoy the great day!!

Happy Mother's Day!!!

Well today is Mother's Day and we just had great lessons and speakers in our ward. And in memory of all the mother figures in my life, all the examples of mother's around me I wanted to share this quote that I found.

I am very excited to become a mother to help my children find peace in there Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. There will be hard times, but we need to keep those memories with our precious children, so that the hard times find better times. We are all blessed with talents in our lives, please use those talents on the Mother's and daughters of our Heavenly Father, we are all seeking the truth.

Girls Weekend!!!

Yes I know I am a slacker, but when you get busy somethings don't happen right when you want them too.

This post is a week over due, but still I am going to write about it. Girls weekend the 5th annual, was last weekend. Wendy flew in and the fun began. we were missing a sister and we missed her a lot. Stacy we can't wait for you to join us again in the fun. Australia is amazing I am sure, but Girl's Weekend isn't the same without everyone there. We got Wendy in heading to the scrapbook store and then had some lunch at Subway. I love Subway, it is so good.

After getting some food we headed up to Park City were I was able to start shopping for our little girl. The Children's Place was have a great deal. Prices marked down and then 50% off of that price. It was a great way to start getting some clothes bought. We went around to all the stores and then headed back down.

We went to Cafe Rio for dinner, were we met up with Dera, which is good food, escpecially when you have enough for the next day as well. After that we headed over to Mom's house and crafted, scrapbooked and laughed all night. We made cute blocks, which were suppose to say LOVE in the 4 blocks, we started putting names on them instead so we could decorate a childs room with them. Mine are done, but have been put into a box so I will post them when I get around to taking them out, then you will all know the name of our pretty little girl. I always made some cute hair bows that just need the knee highs to finish. P.S. EXCITING NEWS!!! I went to Walmart and they had 25 pairs of white knee highs, so I bought them all and will have enough to glue the bows I have made all ready and make a few more. I will be watching for more white knee highs though.

I think this little girl will have enough bows for her hair for the rest of her life. Thanks Wendy for helping me get started and helping when my fingers wouldn't quite work right, your the best.

Stacy also we noticed on your blog that you have a bow for Rylee that has the rick rack as the headband, where did you get that??

After finally all going to sleep he woke up with a great reminder, BREAKFAST!!! Every year we have crepes for breakfast, with fruit and whip cream and sausage and eggs, bacon and vegetables. They are so good and we look forward to the meal every Saturday morning.

Girl's weekend was a blast, we got scrapbooking, crafting, and all others things done. Until next year!!!
