Arizona with a splash of Disneyland

We have made it to Arizona, friday night we spent the night in Mesquite, Nevada in a pet room so that Shadow could come and sleep. After spending the night in Mesquite we drove to Quartzsite, Arizona were Brandon's grandparents live and here we are now.
Christmas Eve is tomorrow and Chad will be flying in to spend Christmas Day with us, then he will be flying out and then on the 26th and 27th we will be going to Disneyland. I will update with pictures and more stories when we get home.

One story for now is, we were driving into Parker to go get grocories for the week and as we were going they were talking about a man that owns a book store that comes to work naked everyday. As we were driving we looked up and saw this man, Dera had told me about him early in the month and said that I needed to see him. He was a sight, we was riding a bike with a shirt and cowboy boots on and that is it. I laughed so hard and then had to let Dera know that I saw him.

That is all for now. Peace out!!!!

Christmas #1

Brandon and I celebrated Christmas on Wednesday, becuase we are leaving for our trip Friday to Arizona and Disneyland on Friday. We got some great gifts myself got clothes, CD's, movies and lotion, and Brandon got tools and clothes and some CD's. Oh and don't let me forget a new computer and we put that up a few weeks ago.

Brandon didn't want me to take his picture because was not feeling well, as you can see as I was taking the picture of the tree,

I got Brandon, sorry love.

It was a great christmas, but I have to say is that the best presents I gave this year was for our sub for santa tree that the
relief society does every year.
What was the best gift you ever gave someone and would you make it a yearly present???

Have A Very Crafty Christmas

These are some of the cute, (well I think they are cute) and crafty things I have done this holiday season. Two of the things I can not show you with pictures until everyone has opened there presents, because well they are presents. Anywho, I was asked by a member of the Relief Society Presidency if I could help with cheap christmas wrapping and cards and other items, I came up with a few cards, that I gave away to people before they were photographed, sorry.
The candle holder I liked so much that I made three, and these belong to me, this was the only thing that I had that was not free, everything else for Super Saturday was free and the sisters just had to come and make them. And the bags I made so that I could get people gifts, I made them for all of the people in our neighborhood that we gave presents too, and there were a hit. It was way fun to make these and easy for both. Good luck if you want to make one if not just enjoy the post.

Forgotten Thanksgiving Day Pictures

This is one of the pictures from thanksgiving that I forgot that I had on my camera. This game that the men are playing is called Robo Rally, you are bascially a robot and you are going around the board to get to the many flags on the board. The catch is that are you are going you have to flip over a series of cards and if don't plan right things will turn, push or shoot you and you will get to the point that you will be off the board, in a hole or if you are lucky on the flag, i am never that lucky enough and so I don't play very often, but the boys can play for hours. The just set the board up different everytime they play. If you get the chance you might want to play at least once, it is pretty amusing.

The snow comes down....

And so does the tree!!!!

this morning at about 7:30 we received a phone call it was my Mom. She was calling to see what we were up too. I told her we were going to get some last Christmas shopping finished and then she said, well out tree has fallen down, on the house and in the neighbors yard. Joey is coming over at about 10:00 and if you can come and help that would be great. So we headed over to see the damage.

As joeyt was cutting some of the branches, Dad was standing underneath one of them and all of a sudden the snow came down and he was covered. He didn't even try and get the snow off his head or coat, but just his glasses I loved it.

Nothing was broken and the fence held up well, a little bowing but not to much. Joey had the chain saw and was cutting away at the tree. It was finished in no time.
The rope they are pulling on is connected to the tree, I remember when the tree in the backyard and the old house had to come down and they let me pull the tree down with them, that was fun.
Here are the manly men just hangin' out patiently waiting for the picture to be taken that they knew would be taken no matter what. Good Man picture fellas.

While the gentlemen worked on the tree the ladies and the kiddos worked on this beautiful snowman and a few snow angels, the snow was so heavy that it made Max cry because he couldn't get the snow to move around him. His angel had no wings or legs.

After the snowman was built Heather, Marie and I started throwing snowballs at the guys when ever they would stop working for a moment. We had to work together to get it so they wouldn't see it coming and just catch it and throw it back.

After the tree was finished is when the ladies started running, the guys didn't forget about those snowballs that were being thrown and instead of throwing snowballs they just threw us in instead.

After the work and the play we all posed next to the stump of a tree.

The we got some hot chocolate and then headed for the movies, or christmas shopping or just home to get warm again.

Babysitting Worries!!!!

When I was nine years old, my first nephew was born, his name is Avery and since I ws old enough to watch them and the other neices and nephews that have come along (18) since then. The biggest fear I ever had was that one of them would get hurt and that I wouldn't know how to get them to the insta care or hospital with all the other children or what to do once at the insta care. This has never been a problem until yesturday afternoon. Thank goodness Brandon was there so I could stay with the other three kids and he could go with the injured one.

Mark has been planning a surprise trip to the Homestead for there anniversary and so even though Dera was not up to par yet, being sick still from Cooper festivites, they went anyway.

We made it over night and through most of Saturday and then Brayden wanted to go sledding so Avery offered to go with him, they live two houses away from the school and it has a great hill, so they went up there together, dressed and took the sled with them. Well Avery left the house shouting, we are going sledding and will not be back for awhile. So about 45 minutes later Avery comes in the back door and he sounds panicked and says go get Brayden. I said (becuase I couldn't see him) that he should just go back up to the school and get him, or that he should brought him back with him. Then I walked over to were he was and could see why he couldn't go back out and get Brayden. He had blood coming off my nose. So I said okay let me see it, and then he says to me I have hole in my nose. So I am thinking I need to get Brandon from outside to help Avery and go get Brayden from the school. So I got my shoes on and ran outside, by the time I got outside all I could think about was if Brayden was hurt too. So to Brandon he got this message "Have you seen Avery? Have you seen Avery?" Which Brandon says no I haven't he is at the school to me saying no he isn't have you seen him" finally I said he is hurt he needs your help. And then I went up to the school and got Brayden, he was not hurt and I told he later how much I loved that he came home when I came and got him, even thought he wanted to stay and play.

When i got back Avery and Brandon were just leaving and Austin had called his parents, but I found out that he doesn't like stuff like that and he was panicing and so they called back when i got there and I explained what had happened, Avery had gone up to the school and ws with Brayden and one of the boys that was there had a snowboard, Avery was at the bottom and the one of the boys with the sonwboard turned it just right that it hit Avery right in the nose. Dera and Mark came down from Park City and went straight to the insta care and came back with Avery with 5 stitches and no broken nose, thank goodness.

We are so glad that Avery is okay and that all he needed was a few stitches. If you want to see Avery's nose there are pictures on The Warner's blog page. crazylifeatwarners.blogspot.com .

CONGRATULATIONS CHAD AND TARA!!!!!!

Chad and Tara and ENGAGED!!!!!!! Just wanted to tell them CONGRAUTLATIONS!! We are so super excited for them and can't wait for the big day.

Long time, but glad to be back!!

Well it has been awhile for the updating of the blog, and there is one or two great big reasons for that. We didn't have a computer hooked up with the internet for a few days. So here is the story:

Brandon went out on black friday to Costco. His purchase was a new computer. He had some struggles with a rude gentlemen that was trying to get through the crowd and Brandon just kept getting in his way and needed to hurry. So After that he got the computer and brought it to his parents house. he wrapped it and he worked on the truck. So after getting home we set it up under the tree that was not yet up, and said that we could open it later the next week. So the tree got set up and it sat there for a couple of days and then we opened it and got it set up. then Brandon had to reset his password at the UofU and then we got the internet set up.

Another reason I had not been even next to a computer was that we have been having some issues with our vehicles. Sunday before Thanksgiving we were at the Carlson's for dinner and when we went to go home we unlocked the truck doors with the remote and by the time Brandon had got to his side of the door everything had just died. So we hung out and tested the battery and it's life was over, it had made a good run, So the truck got left there and we took one of the vehicles from the Carlson's with us. Then Brandon went and put in a new battery and it was back to it's old self except for the check engine light is on. so Brandon had that tested and there is something wrong with the gas line and that needs to be replaced.
The car also had problems, Tuesday night Brandon was changing the light bulb in one of the back up lights and as we were testing to make sure it worked the check engine light came on. So Brandon we and got gas and came back and asked if the car had been acting strange I told him no and we told me what it was doing. It was had to get the car to get up and go, you had to give it a lot of gas, and the lights were not working for the gears. Also the speed was not working, and the tripodometer was not working. So Wednesday morning I was off of work for the holidays, so I went around to get it tested and then into a place to get fixed. Basically no one had any openings and we were out of luck. I called one last place and he said we cannot get you in until friday (like everyone else said). But then he asked what was wrong with the car. (the first to do that) So I explained what was not working and he said that it had something to do with the cruise control and that he was going to squeeze me in because it needs to be fixed soon. So I took it down and then Kris (Brandon's Mom) came and got me. She was going shopping with Tara for christmas stuff, So I just tagged along, we went to lunch and Shannon joined us from school.
So that is the joys that we have been having, and we are glad they are almost over, car wise, just a few more repairs and we are (cross your fingers) back to normal.

Thsnkgiving FUN!!!

Thanksgiving started Thursday morning at about 11:00 when we went all started showing up at my parents house for the festivites. We were all assigned some food and I was given two pies and stuffing. PIES I have never made a pie in my life and they probably didn't taste very good, but at least I tried right???? We had out Thanksgiving feast and then the ladies looked at the ads we had about 6 newspapers all over the floor as we made our plans for what we were going to be doing for the next day at 4:30 a.m. As the ladies checked the ads the men started games and other fun. Thie kids took to the toys and we all stayed busy all night. Kevin and Stacy called on the web cam and it was good to be able to talk to them. They were going to go to the beach for there Thanksgiving, that is not celebrated in Australia, but it ended up cloudy and sorta cold, so they stayed home.

Friday morning for some of us came really fast, I was about an hour in a half of sleep and then we were off. Some to wal-mart some to shopko some to toys r us, and then we were off. We ended shopping at about 4:30 p.m. 12 hours of shopping fun.

Saturday we are now watching the BIG game BYU vs. UTAH!!!! Jeff got tickets of course and him and Cameron are in Provo experiencing the game feel.

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and remember everything you are thankful for and remember what the holidays are all about.

you give me a trick I will give you a treat!!!

Well we went over to my parent's house for Halloween, tradition was to go trunk or treating in the old ward, but I guess they decided not to do that this year, due to so many kids and not enough treats. So we headed over to the new house for some wild excitement. Okay so we just had sloppy joes which I have had since I was a kid. Had to have at least half of one or you couldn't go out. We had lots of treats and the kids all look so cute, well the girls did, the boys looked great. Halloween is so fun. We left a note at our place telling the kids to have a great Halloween and to take a few treats, whether the first kid ruined it or we really did have a lot of trick-or- treaters, the candy was gone when we got back.

Carly: Pooh Bear Max: You don't want to make the HULK angry Gus: Pumpkin

Paisley giving me a cute grin, she loves pictures, which is a good thing, since Travis and Janae love to take pictures.
Paisley: Minne Mouse, (she even had pink cowgirl boots on) Regan: as a caterpiller and Janae: the mom

Avery wanted to give out the candy, he was all over the place, he wanted to scare the kids, first by opening the door as fast as he could right before they rang the doorbell, they laying outside. The kiddo's after going trick-or-treating around the neighborhood. They all came back with some candy and some smiles.

Soccer Time

So Brandon got in a Soccer League with Kevin when they were still here and he is still playing. He played a game on Saturday and went to support and take some pictures. Brandon said that the team did pretty well for there team. His team scored two goals, and Brandon did one of them. But they didn't have enough girls so they forfeitted anyways. There was a girl on the other team that was man handling all the guys. And then she would say sorry everytime. She was everywhere and the guys would have to tell her to back off every once in a while. it was really fun.
After Brandon's game we went to Chelsea's game and then stayed for Eric's game. They were fun to watch. It was a cold day though so I was cold for a long time.

Logan!!

Left to Right:
Amanda, Me, Rachel, Michelle

in this picture it was taken in J2 the apartment we lived in together at Utah State. Michelle's little sister Melanie now happens to live in that apartment so we asked if someone could take a picture.

I went to Logan this past week. On Wednesday the 10th. I went to visit my good friends that also happened to be my roommates in 2004-2005. I drove up with Michelle, who just recently moved back down to Salt Lake with her husband Cody. I went to Junior high and High School with Michelle and we played the violin together for all those years. She just graduated in May with her Violin Performance Major. First we met up with Rachel who just got into the nursing program at Weber State, but it comes through Utah State, so she is still up there. Then we met up with Amanda who only has this semester left and then she can do her Student Teacher and next school year become a teacher. She is also getting married in the 20th of this month. The two roommates that are missing are Valarie Harris who is serving a mission and will be home in December and Liz Nixon that just got married and is doing an internship somewhere for her nutrition degree. She lives in Ogden now with her husband Ryan. I am so glad that I got to see all my old roommates they are so fun and we had a great time that year.

The Big Move!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay this is the old house, boxes everywhere, well actually just in the garage and the living room and the kitchen, everything got moved from the rooms and moved to the upstairs or downstairs, depending which stairs you are coming from. The few boxes in the purple room are mine. we don't have enough room for all of my stuff yet, so since Travis and Janae are still in that house they decided to let it stay. If you need a place to sit you mght just need to sit on the floor. As we waited for the trailers to get back we found ourselves on the kitchen floor. The boys found Robert's old metal detector and that was fun until all you could hear was "beep beep beep beep beep beep beep..." you get the picture. So they put it back away. Not sure if it got put back under the stairs in the old house or packed somewhere for the new house.

Food storage gone, and it was a lot of food storage. Dad's work room cleaned out, by him of course.

THIS IS THE NEW HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!

Front porch
Family Room

Play room.

Yes I said play room. It is off of the family room downstairs and that is where all the movies, toys, kids books and children will play. Which means,if you see the air hockey table, that it is in use again, it is not a storage table anymore.

yard.... they have a flag pole, they were told that they scouts come a practice a lot.

Front room, look at that nice fireplace and the mirror if you look really close was left by the previous owner also the drapes which I hope mom keeps cuz they are really pretty. Also did you notice, those of you that have seen the "OLD" couches taht were pretty flowers, THEY ARE GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAHOO they got new ones. And they didn't just put them downstairs they took them away.

Kitchen photos. A little italy, (Mom's says that will be removed sometimes). The hole above the sink so you can look at the people in the front room. Also I recomend throwing things through the hole at who ever walks by and then ducking really fast. The open kitchen, lots more shelves, drawers and room. Dining area, they now need to keep the leafs in the table or it looks to small.
Dad's Office
Mom's Craft Room
Okay I need to tell a funny story about my Dad. Dera me and my Mom went and took a load over to the new house and we had a box that went in the coat closet, (which is next the front door.) so Dera opened the closet and asked if she wanted all the coats that were on the floor hung up on hangers. Then she looked at the THREE coats that were hung up and they all belonged to my Dad. Then Dera started to pick up the coats and they were all ON hangers. We laughed and laughed. It was funny.
