Brandon bought this game, after playing it at his parent's house, Chad got it for Christmas. He has also seen Avery play it and really thought it was fun. so we have a rock star in our mists!

Well last Friday, Austin had his first swim meet. He did so great, on the freestyle that he swam, he is only 5 seconds away from making it to state, I believe. I was way impressed. Good work Austin, I am so proud of you!!!

The Happiest Place on Earth!!!!!!

Well the Disneyland pictures are here, thanks to Shannon for letting me borrowing her memory stick from her camera.

Welcome to DISNEYLAND everyone, a little piece of happiness in this world of choas. I love Disneyland, not just for the ride, but for the feel of Disneyland, you walk in and you see a flower bed of Mickey's head, and then boom welcome to Main Street Disneyland, movies, shops, food and more. Every ride you go on has a feel, whether it be to get wet, to get scared, to fly like Peter Pan and others. Disneyland has amazing decorations for Christmas as well, a tree in the middle of the town square, everything looks like it has snow on it, and two of the rides you are use to have been changed for the holidays. It's a Small World, sings carols, and The Haunted Mansion has been tranformed into The Nightmare Before Christmas.















You may look at this and think, when in the world do you go under water at Disneyland? Well you may have guessed it, at Finding Nemo, they stick you in a submarine and then you go around and see bits and pieces of the movie, this ride was very well done.


















The castle looks great in the winter time, and even better at night. It was beautiful, it looked like a brand new castle. Cinderella is one lucky lady!!




One of my favorite disney princesses has to be The Little Mermaid, as a child I use to watch this movie over and over again. However Cinderella was the movie I wrote my name on, and I really thought it was just my movie. Ariel was so great with the little princesses that came to her, I was impressed by how well she stayed in character and still was so sweet.














We ran into Mater and Lightning again, they are so fun. They are in California Adventure though, so we didn't see them until the second day.














This is the Screamin', it is a scream.













This is Iceman, (I believe that is his name) from the Incredibles, we saw a lot of the incredibles while waiting in line for the Tower of Terror, but they were in a hurry so we had to just take as they ran, we also saw The Beast we was walking and this girl walks up to him and just starts stammering. she oculd not believe she had just seen him, then she started screaming, I need a picture. It was quite the sight.










When you see California Adventure, there is a big California sign in front of the park, this was also decorated for the christmas season, so I wanted a picture. It was so cute, I just couldn't resist.

here we are waiting in the 90 minute line for Finding Nemo, we kept ourselves entertained for the most part. I waved at the drivers at autotopia as they drove by, most were to busy concetrating, and others were just cruisin, the kids were the best, there parents would say wave, and they would hurry and wave and then get back to what they were doing, never looking up. They will be great drivers someday!

We had a great time. Thanks to the Carlson Ma and Pa for inviting us to come with them, it was great fun.

who do I look like??

well I do have a guy on here, but I can't help if James Blunt enjoys looking like a female is certain ways. I have seen this done a few times and I decided to try it out. Amanda Bynes is on there though, She's The Man, that movie is so funny

they are on there way, but in the mean while

To start this post will be out of order from what is going to follow it. The Disneyland pictures will be coming sometime next week, I took a little camera to disneyland so we wouldn't have to carry the digital with us and the film got wet. Since we went on Splash Mountain the first day and I was soaked the camera might have gotten some of that water issue.

So this post is about what happened after the Arizona, California trip. When getting back we went over to my parents and hung with the family, The Wendy, Jeff family was in town for New Years. We spent everyday at my parents house up until the 2nd, then everybody returned to real life and the McDonough's traveled home. On Saturday we had cake and ice cream for Cameron seeing as it was the 29th, and his birthday as well as Stacy's. Then on New Year's Day we went to Hollywood Connections after a little shopping, because it was Monday and they have $5 dollar mondays that you can do almost everything in the play area. Then we went out to dinner. Then went and spent the New Years hours sleeping for some and playing games for others.
New Years Day we have our 2nd annual progressive dinner, we started at our apartment as we did last year, because we have the least room and so we just have drinks and then go on to the next house. After our house was Dera for appetizers and the Janae's for salad, followed by soup and the Robert Cooper's. We then headed over to the main course at the Joey Cooper's and ended up back at the Parents for dessert. It was a success!!!! and lots of fun. Then we just played games and talked until we all went home to get ready for the rest of a work week.

A Christmas Hike

well while Kris and Blaine were taking Chad to the airport Shannon decided to go on a hike to the hill with a flag on it that was really close to the house. So I went with her, thanks for letting me come with you, it was way fun. We went up to the flag and it was really windy, thus the crazy hair, then we went down to the mine that was there, it was old and worn out and we went and took some pictures. It was a great time to spend with Shannon. I also took this picture of the flag, but it didn't turn out quite like I wanted it to. hope it still looks good.

A White Christmas

well we celebrated Christmas down in Arizona with Gram and Gramps White. Chad flew in Christmas Eve and then stayed until the afternoon Christmas Day. We opened gifts from Gram and Gramps and all the grandkids got a beautiful quilt made by Gram herself. There is a picture of all the quilts below, Shannon is wrapped inside of hers, Chad and Tara's is in the middle and then Brandon and mine is the last one. They are so beautiful, thanks for making them Gram.

Gram and Gramps opened there gifts, and then we ate, played a little Are you smarter that a 5th grader? Which I appear not to be. Then Chad left to get to his plane.
