Easter Weekend

Easter Weekend for us started on Friday afternoon, when Brandon was able to take a half day and informed us that he had purchased our airline tickets to AUSTRALIA,(yahoo!! to visit my sister and her family, here we come) and then we headed to Men's Wearhouse to find him a suit. That was his birthday present so he was able to get two suits, because it was buy one get one free.

Saturday we headed over to my parents house for the annual Easter Egg Hunt. Which is always fun and we end up with tons of eggs filled and then they get scattered in the yard.

We go youngest to oldest, So Claire got to start and then everyone else joined in as grandma called out there names. This is Claire and I waiting to be told we could go.

Nesting the eggs, Robert and Carly had a great time throwing them at each other, while cleaning up the mess.


EASTER MORNING, we woke up to the Easter Bunny bringing us an Easter Basket full of fun things. We got candy and something we could wear to church. Claire and I got new dresses and Brandon got a new tie. Claire also got some Little People.

We then headed to church, we went and picked up my brother and SIL's two girls, there dad was sick and mom just had a baby, so we told them to get some sleep. Then we headed over to Brandon's parents house for an Easter dinner.

To end the weekend we went to the park today. It was an amazing park up in West Jordan and it looks like a big castle. It was fun, Claire went down the slide, (with help) and seemed to like it, but seemed surprised everytime she went down.

Babies, Babies and more Babies...

I have been waiting to do this post, so I could have all four in the same one, since I knew they all were coming within weeks of each other, so enjoy!! (especially that run on sentence)

First came:
Xander, some really good friends of mine had there baby Feb.12, at home, with no drugs, and the help of a mid wife. Good for you Chante'!
Next came:
Leo Brent Cooper my brother and SIL 4th baby came on Feb 18. early as Heather was making a wedding cake, Joey had to finish with Heather's twin sister's help. He is so cute.

Then we have Benjamin
(Another friend of mine that I grew up with), came on March 3rd and was only a day late.


And last but not least, came on my Dad's birthday and the 10th anniversary of my Grandpa Olsen's passing (which this baby was named after that Grandpa that passed away, so kind of fitting), came Traveller Scott Cooper. My brother and SIL's 3rd baby came with a little bit of trama, but made it healthy and so did the mama.

Congratulations to all of you and your little guys. They are all so cute, and growing so fast. Hard to believe they are all here. Love you all and can't wait to meet Halley and Chante's babies since they both live out of the state, love ya!!

7 months

The little one is already 7 months old, and getting so big. She is still getting taller, but just in the torso, still her pants flood her and her shirts are a little short some of them.

Here are a few things we love about Claire:

she loves anything you give her to eat
carrots, beans, peas, sweet potatoes, and we will see about squash and onto
fruit next week. loves animal crackers and ice cream

I finally got her to drink out of her sippy cup, she bites at it and hopes it comes out and then she starts to suck and magically her juice comes out.

she has started to hold her arms out when she is done sitting on the floor and wants up. She turns to find me, unless I am sitting on the floor next to me then she pats my leg and holds her arms out.

she sits really well, it took her about 2 days to realize she loved to sit, so about a month ago she decided it would be okay.

She loves to play with her hair and her bows, when in the car the bows get eaten more often then not.

She will look for me and start smiling and then when I look at her and smile she giggles.

No teeth yet, but I am okay with that, but is starting to bring her knees under herself when she lays on her tummy. so we will see when she starts to crawl.

Next month we go see the cardiologist for a check-up, we will keep you updated.

April 1st is a special day

And not because it is April Fool's Day (but play a good trick on someone, it can be fun), but because it is Brandon's Birthday!!!!

Claire and I want to wish you a super great Happy Birthday, and thank you for all that you do for us. We love you tons and tons!!!!
