Some of the Numbers in my life!

Dress #3 is finished, (my most favorite I think so far) I did it all by myself except for the zipper (thanks mom). #4 here I come.
Claire had her 1st toostie roll pop and 2 packs of smarties, thanks to 1 of the ladies I visit teach.

Brandon and I went on a date to see the 6th Harry Potter, and a dinner for 2 and I really enjoyed it.

Less than 4 weeks until we head on a 14 hour flight with a 11 month old to the land down under to see 5 of my most favorite people.

I have lost 22 pounds since being back at the gym after my 1st was born. Starting 7 1/2 months ago, they say it takes 1 year to get back into shape, so 4 1/2 more months bring it on. Goal weight is set at _____ (think I am going to tell, maybe when I feel more comfortable) only 10 more pounds to lose for that goal.

I love the numbers in my life, how are the numbers in yours??

Cooper Campout 2009

Was held in Manti at the Temple Hill Resort. As the name reveals we stayed next to the Temple, which is beautiful, and is lit all night long (which comes in handy sometimes).
We started out on Thursday whenever you could get there. Claire and I headed out at about 12:00 and got there around 2:00, Brandon had work and school so he came up on Friday. We set up camp and played in the water, there is a pool at this "resort", and we also had a kiddie pool that Janae bought. We had amazing dutch oven BBQ chicken and dutch oven potaotes. (is your mouth watering yet?, mine is.)
We hung out and played games, board games,

Bacci (don't know if I spelled that right) Ball, which is a game that you take a small white ball and throw it, you try to get your color of balls, (red or green depending on what team you are on) the closest to the white ball.

Barbies

this year we got T-shirts, janae did a great job on the design

Claire did well through the night, minus the hour we were awake in the middle, all though before this she was having problems as well, so I don't know. Anyways that is were the Temple comes in, she was screaming and everytime I got her back to sleep and put her down she would start to cry again, so finally I got out of the tent and we went and sat by the fire pit and all she could do was stare at the Lit up Temple and about 30 mintues later she was asleep. It was a very peaceful 30 mintues. (bytheway about 20 minutes after posting my last post, I was getting some last minute things packed for our trip and put Claire on the floor, and well she crawled to me, so she is getting the hang of the crawling thing now)

Here she is playing in her play pen.

Friday Started out really early for brandon, some of the fellas go golfing somewhere every year, so there tee time was at 7:14 a.m. that meant he had to leave at 4:30 to get there in time. They had a great time golfing.

While they golfed, we tye dyed shirts

and had a pinata

then we went to the pool, hung out until dinner and pictures at the temple in our chirst, and then we went into Ephraim for some pizza at one of the local resturants. This pizza place we went to was connected to the cutest ice cream/ candy shop ever. You sit at the bar and order you candy and ice cream. So at one point a lot of the kids had change in hand and were sitting at the bar.

We had s'mores and talked around the fire. and then headed to bed. Saturday we cleaned up and headed home, to get cleaned up and play some more. My sister and her family live out of state so we play as long as they are around. So we headed back over to my mom's and played all night, some until 4:30 a.m. playing board games. Then we headed to church, and got back together after church for some food and goodbyes.

It was a great campout, Brandon and I are in charge of planning next year. We missed the Hutchinsons who are out of the country, but maybe they will be home for next years, and I didn't have any major accidents this year YAHOO!!

10 months

Claire is ten months old.
She can't quite crawl yet, she fling herself across the floor really fast though, gets to what she wants. It is funny to watch her, if she concetrates enough she can get one full crawling motion, but then she wants her toy or treat or whatever so bad she gets up on her hands and knees. puts her knees under her as far as she can and literally lunges herself forward and lands on her tummy, but has what she wanted in her hand. Every time I think, what is that force doing to her stomach. Doesn't seem to bother her though.

She has started to clap and will say yeah when she does it.

She loves food still, I think she might just be a bottomless pit, she doesn't gain as much weight as I think she has but continues to grow in height.

She loves to make you laugh, and will try really hard to get your attention and then starting laughing when you look. She will also make funny sounds and when you laugh she starts to laugh.

She still loves her daddy, but has become quite the momma's girl.

We were at my parent's house and there was a box on the floor and she got herself on it. When she got up there she was so proud of herself that she started smiling and hiting the box with her hands and giggling.

the little feet on the box are Regan she really wanted to be in the picture and the fun. Regan really likes to give Claire her binki, which means she takes it out, puts it in, takes it out, puts it in, you get the picture. She also likes to hide her toys from Claire and tell her "No, No" and sometimes gets her finger shaking at her. So fun

We almost have a one year old, my how time flies
