Claire had her first shoulder ride, it was good fun!
Claire tends to scoot herself all the way upto the top of her crib, sometimes to the point that she is laying sideways and has no where to go. This happens the most during nap time, not so much at bed time. This is when she starts to cry and needs help to get out. So we go and move her and she is fine. When she does this though she rubs her head back and forth and makes her hair stand on end. This is the worst it has been and the only way to get it to lay back down was to get in the tub, good thing tub time was just around the corner.

Claire likes her bouncer just fine, but she gets frustrated, she can't always reach the toys, so I stopped buckling her up, so she could reach better, well this is what she does now. She arches her back until she is in the right spot to reach and then one day she realized her feet reached as well. So she kicks and swats with all her might.
I also realized I didnt' post 4 months stuff. She rolls over these days, she is in the 90th percentile for height, 70th for weight and head. She might just be tall like her daddy. The doc. says she can still hear her heart murmur, and the cardiologist wanted to see us in May anyway so we will see what that all means, other than that healthy and happy after a 4 day cold.

The Biggest Loser
Well, I am a big fan of the show The Biggest Loser, I always have been, but this season is a little bit different. The contestants are bigger than they ever have been. Weighing in the heaviest at 454 pounds. I have to admit, I have had tears come to my eyes as in week one they lost enormous amounts of weight, Jerry passed out, and how in week two they didn't loose as much weight as they would have liked and had to send someone home that really needed to be there. As I watched Bob scream and yell at Joelle this week, which is out of character for him. I call him "the Happy Trainer", I realized that I need to work harder in the gym!
Weight is very important to me, okay not so much weight as health. I don't always eat the best and haven't always been the best at exercising. I took a class in college that taught me to love running, it was a walk/jog class, but we were allowed to do as we pleased. We had to do flexibility tests, and body mass index, and weigh in. This was done at the first class and the last class to see our results. My professor was shocked when I weighed in and her comment was you hide your weight well. That makes a girl feel special. So I started running everyday and ended up losing some weight, and brought my bmi down, and learned to love running.
I started back at the gym after we moved back out to WVC and getting back to the good old gym, I was pregnant then and was in need of some exercise, after Claire was born I took off until she started sleeping 8 hours, On December 1st I started back and have been going almost everyday at 5:00 a.m. I run the track in the morning with two men. One tells me I am doing great and to keep going. The other if I almost pass him, he speeds up, every time. I am not a threat I don't run that fast, but every time he speeds up, crazy.
I have lost some pounds in the six weeks since being back at the gym, but have a long way to go to my goal weight, wish me luck.

Happy Holidays, and much much more!!!
Well, it has been along time, for a week we were without internet. So I couldn't blog then, then we got it back and the next day was Christmas Eve, and was busy for the next week or so. So we are back and blogging. Brandon keeps telling me I need to blog something, so I am blogging a lot about the last couple weeks.
This is Brandon the day is snowed and kept snowing and kept snowing, this is also the night that Claire fell asleep on the couch upright, (post below), so I was making popcorn and had some warm water ready for when he came in, and he actually told me I could take this picture. He had ice hanging from everywhere.
Christmas was fun, we start out with the Carlson family heading over the the cemetary to visit the graves of Grandma and Grandpa Carlson, then we headed over to the Carlson's for our Christmas. They were heading out to Arizona to visit Gramp and Gramps. So we had some fun and then headed home and got Claire to bed so Santa could make his way to our house.
Christmas Morning
Santa filled out stockings
Claire opening her presents, she would grab on as tight as she could and then we would pull, the paper would come off, and she wouldn't let got of the paper. She soon got bored with this but loved her toys.
This toy is huge, she was standing up behind it and could only see her eyes!
She hugged her stuffed animals and she gets huge eyes whenever she sees something new, they are amazingly large.
This last picture was so cute, Claire got a bumbo for Christmas, they help your baby learn to sit, anyways her and Daddy were sitting as you can see, but you will never guess what Claire loves to watch on TV with her Daddy, that is right Sports, they were watching Sports Beat or something similiar and she was watching with her big eyes on. It was cute, we were just waiting for her to get tired and watching sports tends to make the tiredness forgotten. So, she did not get that from me, because sports is not my strong suit.
then we had New Years, which basically started Wednesday evening and lasted until Sunday night. My sister and her family come from Idaho ever New Years and it is a party until they go home. The boys play games until around 5 in the morning and then finally make it home or just spend the night at my parents. We eat a lot of food, we went sledding this year which was fun, Mason, my nephew is an adreline junky and as soon as he got to the top he was back down, don't worry he almost ran over a few people. The kids all went swimming one day and usually there is a shopping trip in there somewhere, we ended up at Tai Pan and spent some money on there 75% off Christmas. Good times, we love it when they come and we get to spend time with them.
Well Claire is a little over 4 months, she is growing well, and has learned a lot of new things.
She gets to get RSV shots all through out RSV season. This shot happens once a month until RSV season is over. She is eligible because of the heart surgery she had at 2 weeks and they say because she was 36 weeks, but according the the pamphlet they need to be earlier then 36 weeks, but because of the heart issue she gets to have this shot, that hurts more then the normal immunizations she gets.
She is geting taller and Brandon likes that because I will be the short one in the family.
She has started slobbing a lot, people keep asking me if she has a tooth coming in and I just say no. I feel her gums ever now and again and feel nothing, so she is just a slobbery girl. She loves to blow bubbles as well, and eat her fingers until she gags herself.
She doesn't like to touch her toys I have noticed she just stares at them, I asked my mom if that was normal and she said yes until she finds her hands are a part of her body, so we will see how long that takes, but she loves her toys, her big eyes come out.
she is really good about falling asleep on her own, I put her down for naps and bed and she goes right to sleep. She also sleeps about 10 hours at night, which helps me out so I can get to the gym in the morning. And Brandon doens't have to get up with her, he can just get up for work.
She also had a giggling moment and she couldn't stop, well she can't figure it out again, she tries, I hear it almost come out and then she can't get it out, so she coughs.
She has rolled over once, and has never done it again, we will give her time.
She loves to sit and push her self up with her legs. She is fun!!!
Well I think I got everything, sorry it was so long. thanks for sticking through it!
